Proverbs 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.
My Comment:
This verse has been applied to the subject of soul winning–leading people to accept Christ as Savior. The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life. That is applied to the fact that bringing a person to accept Christ makes it possible for them to have eternal life. Those engaged in doing that are deemed wise. It surely is a matter of looking forward to heaven and its rewards, and how rewarding it will be to see people in heaven, there in part due to our prayers and even our direct influence or our effort to reach them with the Gospel.
