My Comment:
That God is not mocked ought to be sobering to all who read this verse. Whatever a person sows, they will reap. If you sow to the flesh, that is, focus mainly on things apart from God, you will of the flesh reap corruption. Worldly riches or material wealth, fame, popularity, things, all perish and if not used for God, are unprofitable in the light of eternity. But if you sow to the Spirit, or invest your efforts in reaching Bible-based spiritual goals honoring to God, you will of the Spirit reap life everlasting. It is necessary to continue in our faith, and not be weary in well doing. God promises we will reap the reward of our labor of love for Him, if we faint not–that is, if we do not give up.
