My Comment:
As we wait and look expectantly for the return of Christ, Peter urges us to live our lives in a manner such that when He comes we will have no reason to be ashamed. We are to be living lives that are pure, spotless, and living at peace. Once again, we see that the motive to study Bible prophecy is to live lives focused on holy living (Hebrews 12:14).
