Daily Bible Nugget #710, Psalm 37:6

The Nugget:

Psa 37:6  And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. (KJV)

Psa 37:5  Give yourself to the LORD; trust in him, and he will help you;
Psa 37:6  he will make your righteousness shine like the noonday sun. (GNB, Good News Bible)

Psa 37:5 Let the LORD lead you and trust him to help.
Psa 37:6 Then it will be as clear as the noonday sun that you were right. (CEV, Contemporary English Version)

My Comment:

The best commentary on the Bible is the Bible itself. Scripture interprets Scripture. I have found so far, after studying the Bible this way intensively for 67 years, that the best way to engage the Scripture is by carefully studying what are called cross references given for the verse I want to understand better and appreciate more. Here are the cross references I have collected in The Ultimate Cross Reference Treasury for Psalm 37:6,
