Daily Bible Nugget #678, Psalm 56:3

The Nugget:

Psa 56:3  What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. (KJV)

Psa 56:3 What day I am afraid, I, unto thee will direct my confidence. (EB, Emphasized Bible)

Psa 56:3 When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. (ESV)

Psa 56:3  Even when I am afraid, I still trust you. (GW, God’s Word translation)

Psa 56:3 In the time of my fear, I will have faith in you. (Basic English Bible)

Psa 56:3 but even when I am afraid, I keep on trusting you. (CEV, Contemporary English Version)

My Comment:

There is much taking place in the world today that should concern us. But in the midst of it all, the best advice I know is to keep trusting God.

We can find encouragement and comfort (Romans 15:4) by turning to the Bible.

One of the best ways to understand the Bible’s message is to compare Scripture with Scripture.

That is why studying the Bible using cross reference Bible study is essential to our spiritual growth.
