Isaiah 34:16 Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them.
My Comment:
This passage contains the eighth title the Bible gives itself, the book of the Lord. Notice what the prophet Isaiah tells us we are to do with the book of the Lord: “Seek ye out of the book of the Lord, and read.” That is a most important idea. Does the Bible itself tell us we should read the Bible? It certainly does tell us that here. Does the Bible itself tell us we are to go by the Bible alone? I cited Isaiah 8:20 to establish the fact that it does. You will surely be blessed and encouraged by taking time to read and study the Bible for yourself.
