The Nugget:
Isaiah 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
My Comment:
Notice the first word: All. That includes everyone. We have gone astray. We have each one turned to his or her own way. But notice the solution that the Lord has provided: God has laid on Him, the Messiah, the iniquity of us all. Jesus Christ is the Messiah. He went to the Cross to bear our sins. He is our Atonement. He is both the Sacrifice and the Priest. Atonement is the provision God made for us, for everyone. But the benefit is reserved for those who claim it, who receive it, by believing on Christ as their Savior from sin.

Alas! and did my saviour bleed?
and did my sovereign die?
would he devote that sacred head
for such a worm as I?
was it for crimes that i have done
he groaned upon the tree?
Amazing pity! Grace unknown!
and love beyond degree.
well might the sun in darkness hide
and shut his glories in,
when the incarnate maker died
for man, his creature’s sin.
thus might i hide my blushing face,
while his dear cross appears:
dissolve my heart in thankfulness,
and melt my eyes to tears.
