My Comment:
Faith comes by hearing the word of God. If we are not hearing, if we are not listening to the word of God, we won’t have faith. I contend that hearing is not limited to literal listening. We can hear God’s Word if we will take the time and effort to read it. Therefore it is equally true that faith comes by reading the Word of God. Do you want stronger faith? Then read God’s written Word. Do you want others to be brought to true faith? Encourage them to hear God’s Word, whether by listening or by reading.
