The Nugget:
John 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
My Comment:
Are you walking in darkness? If you are, then you have not been following Jesus! Remember He said men love darkness rather than light because their deeds are evil (John 3:19). Many who suppose they are following the light are not following the Lord Jesus Christ of the Bible. He also said that if the light that is in you is actually darkness, how great is that darkness! Make sure you are following Him. If you are not faithfully reading and studying the Bible, you may very well be on the wrong path.

jn 8.12 another great promise from the gospel of john! there are many scriptures that
speak of the lord jesus christ being the light of the world. several in the gospel of john.
jn 1.4 in him was life; and the life was the light of men. vs5 and the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprended it not. vs 9 that was the true light, which
ligtheth every man that cometh into the world.vs10 he was in the world, and the world
was made by him, and the world knew him not. jn 3.19 and this is the condemnation,
that light, is come into this world,and men loved darkness rather than light,becuase
their deeds were evil. 9.5 as long as i am in the world, i am the light of the world. 12.35 then jesus said unto them, yet a little while is the light with you, walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not
whither he goeth. 12.46 i am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on
me should abode in darkness. paul in ii co 4.6 for god, who commanded the light to
shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of
the glory of god in the face of jesus christ. psm 27.1 the lord is my light and salvation; whom shall i fear? the lord is the strength of my life of whom shall i be afraid? i jn 1.5
this then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto, that god is light, and in him is no darkness at all. i praise the lord for saving me and i can be in his light!
