John 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
My Comment:
The test of true commitment to Jesus Christ is stated here. True disciples continue in His word. Today, His word is found in the Bible. The truth is found where His word is found. His word is not to be found in a supposed “one true church,” but in Scripture. The truth of Scripture will make you free from man-made religion. There really is a difference between the world-view and doctrine taught in the Bible compared to any other source of supposed spiritual truth. Make the Bible the source of your spiritual life in Jesus Christ.

vs 32 and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free. there alot of verses on truth in the bible. jn 7.17 if any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of god,or whether i speak of myself. jn 14.6 i am the way. the truth, and the life,jesus saith unto him, i am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the father, but by me. jn 16.13 when he, the spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth.
