Daily Bible Nugget #976, Ecclesiastes 10:2

The Nugget:

Ecc 10:2  A wise man’s heart is at his right hand; but a fool’s heart at his left. (KJV)

Ecc 10:2  The thoughts of the wise lead them the right way, but the thoughts of the foolish lead them the wrong way. (ERV, Easy to Read Version)

Ecc 10:2  The heart of the wise man goes in the right direction; but the heart of a foolish man in the wrong. (BBE, Bible in Basic English)

Ecc 10:2  Sensible thoughts lead you to do right; foolish thoughts lead you to do wrong. (CEV, Contemporary English Version)

My Comment:

I recently saw where this verse (Ecc 10:2) was mentioned with reference to current politics! That may be a “stretch,” but it still is very instructive. Any movement to the Left in that regard is likely very dangerous today.
