Fathers, duties of
(1) instruct children, +Deut 6:20. Isa 38:19.

Deuteronomy 6:20
20  And when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What mean the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD our God hath commanded you?

(3) maintain discipline of children in home, 1Ti 3:4.

4  One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;
