Hello Jerry one of my favorite Bible teachers has been Arno Gaebelein particular his commentary on the psalms particularly Psm 50.15 “Call on Me in the day trouble–
I will deliver thee and thou shalt glorify me!”This was the first verse of the Bible
the writer learned as a child, It has remained through out his life, As year after year
has passed by, it became bigger and bigger. it never was more precious than now.
Oh the wonder of it! That an Almighty One invites prayer and confidence in the day of trouble with the assurance of deliverance ! How is it faith does not lay more hold of
such a promes!!this was written 1039-40 His family from Germany. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever! Hebrews 13.8 His commentary has been blessing to me many times !!
Thank you for sharing this, Ken! I first encountered the writing of Arno Gaebelein when I saw and checked out one of his books from the Highland Park Baptist Church library.
Now I have many of his books in my Logos library. I also have his commentaries in my printed book library too.
