My Comment:

There is no escaping the FACT that the Bible teaches the eternal, never-ending, punishment of the wicked and the unsaved in what is commonly referred to as hell in our English Bible translations. On a more technical level, it is possible to dig deeper into the Bible to learn more about the subject of eternal punishment as it is reflected in the meanings of the original language words underlying our English translations. I have furnished the cross references and notes as given at Psalm 9:17 which enable any reader here to pursue such a study accurately.

The solution to the moral and spiritual deterioration in our nation and society is for more individuals to actually read the New Testament for a long enough time daily (at least 20 minutes a day) and often enough weekly (at least 4 days a week) on a continuing basis until genuine, permanent, spiritual awakening occurs. I know this by personal experience. This suggestion has been confirmed as to its validity and effectiveness in the lives of those who will faithfully follow this suggestion by research reported by Barna and Pew Research.
