From Father to Son

On Valentine’s Day, February 14, 1992, I received copies of the first edition of my book, The New Treasury of Scripture Knowledge.

I autographed a copy to my youngest son with the message:

Just think! Your Dad wrote this book. This book will help you understand the Bible better. With this book you can dig into the treasures of God’s Word.

It took your Dad 26 years or more of research and study to prepare this book. Your Mom helped, too. It took Dad five years just to type it. But now that the book is done, I hope we will have more time to use it together. This is one book you will never finish studying, so it should last you a long time.

May this book be as great a blessing in your life as it was to your Dad when he was a boy, using the original edition.
