My Comment:

I saw this as a list of “Ten Things God Can’t Do” shared by my Facebook friend Missy Mercy. But as I typed the list I thought of a few more things God can’t do, so now the list numbers 14. Item 10 on the list is better represented by Psalm 40:17. Item 13 is much clearer in modern English translations. I don’t claim that this list is exhaustive, but it should be inspirational.

Rom 11:29  For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. (KJV)

Rom 11:29 For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. (ESV)

Rom 11:29 God doesn’t take back the gifts he has given or forget about the people he has chosen. (CEV)
