Muslims claim Paul is a false apostle Part 1

The Claim:

“Paul is a false apostle who started the anti-Christ movement and promoted anti-Tanakh laws. Agree?”

My response:

In the light of what the Bible itself teaches, Paul is surely not a false apostle. He was appointed and commissioned to his specific ministry by our Lord Jesus Christ Himself:

Act 9:10 And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.

Act 9:11 And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth,

Act 9:12 And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight.

Act 9:13 Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem:

Act 9:14 And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name.

Act 9:15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:

Act 9:16 For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name’s sake.

TK replied:

that’s irrelevant. How about answering the post?

if it’s true he did this, then he’s a false apostle.

My response to TK:

The text of Scripture I cited proves that Paul was not a false apostle but was appointed and commissioned by our Lord Jesus Christ Himself.

What I wrote is not irrelevant to the mistaken claims of the Opening Post. Notice that I have presented factual documentation from the text of Scripture. You merely state mistaken opinion that does not accord at all with what the Bible teaches.

You state a very misguided notion in the Opening Post that totally misconstrues the term “antichrist” as it is used in the Bible. Paul most certainly was not against our Lord Jesus Christ. Paul faithfully preached and taught the Gospel of Christ.

Galatians 2:9

9 And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision. King James Version

Paul and Barnabas were extended the “right hand of fellowship” by Peter, James, and John.

Peter, James, and John would hardly have approved and affirmed the ministry of Paul and Barnabas if they had considered Paul to be a false apostle!

Peter himself states at the conclusion of his second letter, regarding Paul:

2Pe 3:15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;

2Pe 3:16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

2Pe 3:17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.

2Pe 3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

Anyone who rejects Paul and his Letters as contained in the New Testament is the one who is Antichrist. To be against Paul is to be against Christ.

TK responded to me:

notice that you can only quote from peter and barnabas and find these quotes ONLY in paul’s and peter’s letters? this shows that there’s no approval from any other disciple and there were 10 others. In fact ive heard debates between christians and agnostics that there was a lot of friction between paul and jesus’ original disciples due to his false teachings
