Daily Bible Nugget #554, Proverbs 1:10

The Nugget:

Proverbs 1:10  My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.

My Comment:

I particularly noticed this verse from the first chapter of Proverbs when I first began to read the Bible for myself. The verse is short but clear. Do not follow others if what they do will be wrong or lead to trouble. Being popular with the wrong crowd will not get you to where you need to go in life.

Reading and studying the cross references for Proverbs 1:10 lets the Bible be its own commentary. I share them below from my most recent book of cross references, The Ultimate Cross Reference Treasury, an electronic or digital resource available for the e-Sword Bible Software program.
