The Nugget:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Isaiah 30:9 That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the LORD:\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

My Comment:<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is another example of the title the law of the Lord<\/em> being used in the Bible as a title for itself. Reading “between the lines,” it is possible to discern an implicit “cause\/effect” relationship stated in this verse. Those who are rebellious, those that are liars, are also those who will not hear the law of the Lord. I think the power of the Gospel and the message of the Bible can be introduced successfully, over time, to such persons. Once they begin to hear the Word of God, it begins to work in their heart, in their inner being. The outcome is ultimately their conversion to Christ. When this happens, as they continue from that point to grow spiritually, they no longer will be devoted to lies and rebellion.<\/p>\n
