Once again, firm evidence that the Bible itself teaches that it can be understood. Understanding the Bible gives wisdom to those who obey what they understand. Solomon said, &#8220;Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding&#8221; (Proverbs 4:7). All of my former students ought to recall Proverbs 4:7, for that was the first of many daily proverbs and quotations I posted on the blackboard of my classroom each new school year.
