The Nugget:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mat 5:8<\/b><\/span>\u3000 <\/span>Blessed<\/span> are<\/span><\/i> the pure in heart: for they shall see God.<\/span><\/p>\n

My Comment:<\/strong><\/p>\n

At the start of this new year, it might be well for us to check our hearts!<\/p>\n

It would help to know what the Bible means, and what Jesus meant, when He spoke of being “pure in heart.”<\/p>\n

I suspect that this ties in to Hebrews 12:14,<\/p>\n

Follow peace with all <\/span>men,<\/span><\/i> and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:\u3000<\/span><\/p>\n

I see a connection here, because the positive aspect, “they shall see God,” seems to relate to “without which no man shall see the Lord.”<\/p>\n

God’s Word, as found only in the Bible, is designed to cleanse us, guide us, and many other things, including feed us spiritually.<\/p>\n

If you want to draw nearer to God, the Bible tells us that if we draw near to God, He will draw near to us (See James 4:8).\u00a0 One of the best ways to do this is to listen to God by reading and studying God’s Word in the Bible.\u00a0 Try not to miss a day without having had some spiritual food to chew on!<\/p>\n<\/fb:like><\/fb:like><\/span>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
