Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
My Comment:
I believe the words of this verse may be taken in our day as a prayer promise. We need to couple them with other aspects of prayer taught in Scripture. For example, James tells us that “…yet ye have not because ye ask not” (James 4:2). In context, Philippians 4:19 is Paul’s affirmation to the Philippians, who had been generous in their support of Paul’s material needs, that God in turn would supply their needs too.
