Daily Bible Nugget #350, Proverbs 15:3

The Nugget:

Proverbs 15:3 The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.

My Comment:

The fifth attribute of God in my list of over 40 attributes is the attribute of omnipresence, which I have keyed to Proverbs 15:3.

From what I read in the Bible, God is everywhere present at the same time (Psalm 139:7, 8). That is in great contrast to Satan, who is ubiquitous–often present in many places but not every place at the same time, only one place at a time. Of course, Satan has helpers, so we need to be aware of his devices (2 Corinthians 2:11).

There is no place to hide from God (Psalm 139:11, 12). He sees all, both the evil and the good (Proverbs 15:3). What is more, God keeps a record of all (Malachi 3:16, 17; Hebrews 6:10). This ought to be one motivation to follow holiness–living a life that is above reproach and honoring to God in all we say and do (Hebrews 12:14; 1 John 3:1, 2, 3).

If more people were fully acquainted with the Bible, and the God of the Bible, we would see a great change for the better everywhere. That is the real change and hope we can believe in, and God has placed the access to these wonderful life transforming truths in reach of everyone who can read in the pages of the Bible.

If you want to see such change for the better, do your part to encourage others to make Bible study and Bible reading a priority in life. Be an example to others by reading and studying the Bible yourself!
